Practice Areas

Andrew Winston has been defending the rights, finances, and liberties of both Florida residents and visitors for decades. His practice areas of expertise include:

  • Personal Injury and Auto Accidents – If you’re suffering from physical, emotional, or financial damage after a personal injury, you might not feel much like picking yourself up and fighting back, but simply accepting your fate is a mistake. Mr. Winston has seen far too many personal injury clients who have to deal with serious issues that are going to impact them for the rest of their lives. When you’ve been hurt, you deserve compensation. Car crashes caused by negligence are one of the most common types of personal injury accidents in our state. Whether the other driver was under the influence, distracted, or just plain reckless, Andrew Winston knows how to help you win the compensation you deserve.
  • Child Injury and Accidents – School and day care injuries. Playground falls. Pool accidents. Bicycle accidents. Defective or dangerous toys or other products. There are so many different ways for kids to get hurt that those are just a tiny sample. Mr. Winston understands how to help you win the compensation you need for your child to fully recover, no matter if you’re up against a neighbor, the neighborhood school or park, or a giant toy manufacturer.
  • Legal Malpractice – Your lawyer is responsible for carrying out many important steps and making crucial decisions in your legal assignment, so it is not surprising that there are a wide range of potential mistakes that can lead to legal malpractice. Mr. Winston has been helping clients to navigate the often-murky waters of legal malpractice for years and making sure those in his profession are held accountable if they do not adhere to their duty of care.
  • Premises Liability – One of the biggest issues in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and other major Florida cities is premises liability for hotels and other businesses. If you’re injured due to improperly maintained streets, sidewalks, or other business-owned property, they could be liable and required to help. Often, these types of accidents are referred to as a “slip and fall” or “trip and fall” accident, even if you did not literally slip and fall. The bottom line is, if your accident was caused by the negligence of the property owner, you may be entitled to compensation for your medical expenses and any other costs associated with the accident.
  • Civil litigation – Andrew Winston has assisted both individual and business clients with issues related to employment law, contract disputes, trade secrets, insurance disputes, products liability, professional malpractice, and more. If a legal issue is threatening to harm you personally and professionally, Mr. Winston can help.
  • Property Damage Claims – Andrew Winston is a highly trained and seasoned property damage lawyer, with experience in assisting clients with everything from hurricane damage to auto accident claims. He understands that receiving a fair settlement is essential for rebuilding and repairing your property and moving on with your life. An experienced and aggressive attorney, Mr. Winston has helped numerous Florida clients pursue higher claims, guiding them through the filing procedure and negotiating with insurance companies to ensure their settlement is fitting to the damage they suffered.

Whether you’re suffering from physical, emotional, or financial damage after a personal injury, damage to your business or to you professionally, or if you or a loved one is facing criminal charges, Andrew Winston is the Florida lawyer with the compassion and experience to help you get the best possible outcome for your case.
