Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Winston attended Pennsylvania State University and earned his B.A from Temple University, graduating cum laude with honors in 1990. He then received his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Law School in 1994.
Before starting The Law Office of Andrew Winston, Mr. Winston gained valuable experience working with two South Florida insurance defense firms, then serving as managing partner at Lawlor, Winston, White & Murphey. Mr. Winston’s practice focuses on personal injury, including child injuries, premises liability cases, and legal malpractice. He is dedicated to protecting the rights of individuals and assisting families of loved ones who have been injured through the negligence of others. Mr. Winston is an active Eagle member of the Florida Justice Association, the American Association for Justice, the Broward County Justice Association and the Broward County Bar Association.
He is admitted to practice before all Florida courts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and has been recognized for his excellence in the representation of injured clients in countless ways, including being admitted to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, achieving a 10/10 Avvo rating, earning an AV Preeminent rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, being named one of Florida’s Top 100 Lawyers for 2015-2016, and being voted to Florida Trend’s “Legal Elite” and as a Florida “SuperLawyer” – an honor reserved for the top 5% of lawyers in the state – every year since 2011.
